Private beachfront on Barú — infinity pool, 14-option lunch and a Rosario Islands swimDay Pass – Sabai
COP $120,000 COP $480,000Price range: COP $120,000 through COP $480,000
Sabai Beach is a small eco-resort on the Barú peninsula, built around a stretch of private beachfront kept free of vendors and crowds. It is a quieter day than most of the Barú clubs, and the day pass is priced with the departure tax already included rather than collected at the pier.
You leave from the Todomar pier in Bocagrande at 7:30 AM, with a bottle of water on board and a run past Fuerte de Bocachica and the Ciénaga de Cholón on the way. A local fruit popsicle is waiting on arrival.
The day itself is beach beds at the water, a freshwater infinity pool looking out to sea, towels and freshwater showers, coffee all day and wifi on the beach. Kayaks, paddle boards, volleyball and beach rackets are all included. Lunch is à la carte from 14 options with a soft drink. There is a DJ on Saturdays and Sundays. The day also takes in a visit to the Oceanarium — entrance is not included — and a 30-minute stop in the Rosario Islands for a swim. The return is at 3:00 PM.

Sabai is small and deliberately quiet. The beachfront is private and kept clear of vendors, which is the main practical difference from the public stretches of Barú, and the property is an eco-resort rather than a party club — the DJ is weekends only.
It is also the most complete day on paper of the Barú passes. The departure tax is inside the price rather than collected in cash at the pier, towels and showers are provided, lunch is a genuine à la carte menu with 14 dishes, and coffee runs all day. Kayaks, paddle boards, volleyball and beach rackets are all included.
And the day is not confined to one beach: the boat passes Bocachica and Cholón, stops at the Oceanarium, and gives you half an hour in the Rosario Islands to swim. Children aged 5 to 9 have their own rate, which is the lowest child price in the Barú range.
