The Family Day Trip on the 32/34 ft speedboat is a full private day on the water for up to 13 people. It’s a natural fit for smaller family groups, a single family with kids, or anyone who wants a relaxed, unhurried day at the islands without the size and cost of a bigger boat.

First stop is the Oceanario, an open-water aquarium that tends to be a highlight for kids and adults in equal measure. The live dolphin show is always a crowd pleaser, and the exhibits featuring sharks, turtles, and Caribbean marine life give everyone something to talk about on the ride to the next stop. Entry tickets are not included in the tour price but available to purchase on arrival.

Lunch is at Isla Liza Mar, a family-friendly beach club with a calm setting and good amenities that make it easy to relax with kids in tow. Lunch is not included in the base price but available to order there. If the group wants to upgrade, PA’UE is a great alternative with standout Caribbean food and a beautiful, serene environment that works just as well for families.

The last stop is Playa Tranquilla, a quiet beach in the mangroves where the day winds down naturally. The raccoons that live along the shoreline are a genuine surprise for most guests, especially the little ones, and it’s a peaceful, memorable way to close out the afternoon before heading back to Cartagena.

All day trips return to Cartagena by around 5:00 PM.
